From our humble beginnings decades ago, our presence is being noted over the last few years. Thanks to the strong foundation laid by our members and which was continued over the years with the same values. Among the few noted legends we have Dr Roy Alexander whose fatherly figure has been guiding everyone who needed his help and Dr Suresh who usually stays away from limelight but been the backbone of this association. Then we have our national past President Dr Sukumaran, who put us on the map and Dr Remesh whose dynamic personality taken the IAP by storm.

Pathanamthitta branch, even though a small unit, was always an excellent branch and a working model to other
branches in the state.
I visited your branch 6 times in the past and I felt the pulsations as vibrant and dynamic. It is especially because of the guidance of our beloved HSG Dr Ramesh Kumar who has written his own chapter in golden letters in the annals of IAP in India.
Let many more leaders emerge from this blessed branch.

First of all, let me express my gratitude to all the Iapians and my seniors for elevating me to the post of Secretary of this great academic body. Even though Kerala is a small State, IAP Kerala is considered as a major branch bagging many awards annually for the last many years.Pathanamthitta being the hometown of our dear Dr Remesh Kumar, has grown up and kept the reputation of our HSG high. I congratulate Dr Aby Dany Varghese, chief editor of this newsletter, Dr Nelby, Dr Binukuttan, Dr Jijo, Dr Reny and all the senior’s Dr Roy, Dr Suresh, Dr Rony and the rest for guiding them.
You are most cosy and secure in the midst of your Family
Members. Likewise ,I must admit the love, affection and warmth
shared by my Family Members in IAP Pathanamthitta has given me
the most cherished moments in my life.
Our branch with its vibrant young dynamites at the helm
has been a revelation for the past few years. Nurtured by our mentor
Dr Roy Alexander and guided ably by our National President 2011
Dr. T .U. Sukumaran, we are a blessed lot with the gen next promptly
being groomed. The Team of Dr Rony, Dr Nelby, Dr Binukuttan,
Dr.Binu Govind, Dr Jijo, Dr Arun et all have already made an impact
with their vibrant visibility in all domains. The support rendered by
the back end team led by Dr Suresh Kumar & Dr Cheriyan who has
migrated to Qatar ; but is still a virtual backbone of our branch has
always been dear to the upward graph of our branch.
Let’s move ahead and enjoy our academics along with
companionship under the safe secure umbrella of IAP. Sure this
platform will give us all much better opportunities to serve the
children of our country in a more organised learnt manner.
